In the Winter 2014/2015 issue of PHOTO News, Michel Roy describes the techniques of photographing live performances.
Your challenge is to capture an image that conveys the concept “That’s Entertainment!”
You may photograph (with permission from the producers, of course) live performances at a theatre or public event, school plays, or your friends and family “hamming it up” for the camera.
The challenge is open to all Canadian photographers – your assignment begins now – final deadline is March 1, 2015.
You may submit up to five images per week – please be sure that you have permission from the performers or show producers to take and submit the images… check the back of any ticket that you may have to determine if photography is allowed at an event, and please do not disturb the audience during the performance.
