Rob’s workshop is designed for photographers who are interested in sharpening their photographic skills. It is an excellent refresher for those who already have one foot in the door but need to hone their skills with the intricacies of their digital equipment, as well as a great passage for those who wish to further explore the exciting and creative world of photography.
This workshop is also appropriate for photographers with little or no studio and location lighting experience, who wish to improve their understanding of lighting techniques in wedding, portrait and commercial photography as well as how to deliver your final product to clients.
Rob will give you a solid understanding of how your camera works so that you can have fun exploring your creative side with digital photography without stressing over camera
settings. You will learn how to use and modify all types of lighting, ambient, flash, studio strobes, and continuous lighting. The secret to successful imagery is using the proper lighting technique. Once you have your perfectly lit shot, how do you manage it amongst your library of thousands of images?
You will be shown software tools to speed up your workflow so that you are not needlessly bogged down by organizing, selecting and editing your final shots.
Finally, you will learn how to manage your colours by colour calibrating your camera, monitor and printer, so what you see on your monitor is what you get on your final print without the frustration and cost of trial and error.
