It’s Ontario Parks 125th Anniversary and we’re celebrating the love of photography by offering two free Nature and Waterfalls Photography Workshops at Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park next Saturday, September 15, 2018. You can choose between the morning (10 am – 12:30 pm) or afternoon session (1:30 – 4:30 pm).
Workshops feature Thunder Bay Professional Photographer Jarron Childs www.SuperiorImages.ca. Jarron has been involved with photography for over 25 years and the natural world continues to be his photographic passion. He has explored many styles of photography from wedding, to portraits to sports, but always returns to nature photography to re-energize and refocus. He has been involved with the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) for a decade now and has earned his Master of Photographic Arts 2nd Bar completing 15 professional accreditations in various categories. Jarron is a local high school teacher and finds teaching photography is a wonderful blend of his two favourite pastimes.
Join Jarron as we learn how to photograph images of the spectacular Kakabeka Falls. We’ll also take a stroll along the park’s boardwalk to see what other wonders of nature we can discover and photograph.
These workshops will once again offer a smaller class size to ensure personalized instruction from the instructor in our beautiful park setting.
Pre-registration is required by emailing Barb.Rees@Ontario.ca or calling 807-475-1482. Select one of the two workshops, then why not spend the rest of the day exploring the park with your camera! Workshop registration is first come, first serve. Park entry fees apply.
For more information about the workshops, feel free to email Barb or give her a call.
