FRIO Hold

The original FRIO Hold coldshoe was released a few years ago. I was so excited by how well this product worked that I had my employer at the time bring them into the store. This is still my go-to coldshoe – when I use a softbox or L-bracket, I have a FRIO Hold mounted instead of the fiddly coldshoe that came with my other gear.

FRIO Hold features a unique DualLock system that holds your gear more securely. The DualThread attachment lets you mount Hold on any light stand or arm with either 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 threads. It really is the best coldshoe ever!

FRIO Arch

My next favourite piece of FRIO gear is the Arch. It’s a ball swivel that you can mount on any light stand, tripod, monopod, boom and more that also includes an umbrella mount! You no longer have to carry those heavy, huge umbrella swivels – FRIO Arch is a fraction of the weight and adjustable in 360° with the release of one lock nut.

FRIO Cling

If you want to mount your devices on a flat surface – almost any flat surface – FRIO Cling will be your best friend. It’s not just a suction cup mount but adds a vacuum pump for a secure fit. Mount a FRIO Cling to a mirror, window, countertop or the hood of a car.

The non-marking suction cup will securely hold your gear where you want it. Use a FRIO Cling to mount a speedlight onto a mirror while the bride is getting ready. Mount your GoPro to a window for a time lapse of a summer thunderstorm. Leave the light stands at home and bring FRIO Cling instead!

FRIO Grasp Bigi and Mini

Don’t stress over hard-to-light spots when you have the FRIO Grasp at hand. Available in two sizes (Bigi 18-55mm grip range or Mini 0-34mm grip range), FRIO Grasp mounts to anything round or flat – table edges, chairs, stairs, poles and more! FRIO Grasp is ideal for places where you can’t fit a light stand, such as in a newborn’s nursery.

FRIO Stand

You’ve used all of your regular light stands but still have one more speedlight to setup and only a C-Stand with a baby pin. FRIO Stand is here to save the day. It has a 5/8” female baby pin receptor so you can add a FRIO Hold coldshoe (included) to any C-stand, boom, roller stand or any other grip that features a baby pin.

TetherTools + FRIO Reach Kit

The FRIO Reach kit is a partnership of TetherTools Rock Solid Master Arm and Master Clamp with a FRIO Stand on the end! This is the perfect solution instead of carrying extra light stands – mount one or more FRIO Reach kits to one stand. FRIO Reach takes up less room in your kit bags and lets you create compact and safer solutions. The Master Clamp will attach to light stands, C-stands, tripods as well as flat surfaces. The Master Arm will rotate and bend in multiple points so you can position your gear where you need it.

Photographers can setup an entire photo studio on one stand – mount your speedlight with umbrella at the top of the stand on a FRIO Arch.
