The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts invites photographers to participate in the 23rd Annual Juried Photography Show at the Arts Centre, located at 163 Hurontario St., Collingwood, ON by submitting photographs online starting in mid-July.
Categories:
- Altered Reality – significantly and noticeably modified with post processing
- The Natural World – anything in nature with no hand-of-man showing
- Embracing Humanity – How we feel, what we do, what makes us uniquely human, or the imprint we leave behind.
- Collingwood Downtown – Special category this year for local subject matter to showcase people and events in Historic Downtown Collingwood.
Divisions for both Adult and “Emerging Photographers” (21 and under or less than 4 years of experience)
Dates:
- Online Registration and Digital Image intake – July 15 to August 21, 2015
- Intake of Printed Materials for accepted entries – by weekend of Sept 26-27
- September 30th to October 31st, 2015, prints show in Gallery
- Opening Reception and Awards, Sunday, October 4
Jurors for the 2015 show are Lance Gitter and Ross Chevalier.
