I’m very, very happy to announce that I (DS Sanchez Photographer) am now a Canadian ambassador for ThinkTank photography bags.
What a great way to end 2024!

Over the years, I have equipped myself with a lot of professional photographic equipment. From cameras and lenses to Tether Tools cables and broncolor lighting systems and their modifiers. My productions can be shot in the studio, on location (indoors or outdoors) or abroad. The organization and protection of my equipment is therefore super-important to ensure its longevity, and also to facilitate its handling during shoots.
I was recently invited to become a ThinkTank Canada ambassador and ThinkTank offered me a choice of bags. I opted for the ThinkTank Production Manager 40 V2 bag for its large storage capacity and flexible configuration. It’s now my favorite bag and is used for my lighting systems. I also chose bags to organize my accessories: 2x ThinkTank Cable Management 30 and 1x ThinkTank Cable Management 10 to store and protect my Tether Tools cables, computer accessories, etc. I’ve also chosen bags to organize my accessories.
I thought I would do a “What’s in my ThinkTank bag” during a photo shoot outside my studio to show you how I use my ThinkTank bags and how much gear they can hold.
Here are my favourite features of my Production Manager:
- The hardware is of the highest quality and is very robust
- The seams are all reinforced and very, very strong
- The zippers are large and strong and can be locked. A padlock is even built into the Production Manager to secure it.
- It has several handles on each side for easy carrying and handling.
- The bag comes with identification kits, for example: lighting, handle, camera, photo, video, etc to aid in quickly identifying the bag among several bags and equipment cases (whether for myself or my assistants).
- The bag is rigid, even when fully loaded!
- The Production Manager 40 V2 bag is stable on its wheels. This was the problem with my old carrier bag, which was too narrow and when I rolled it, it tended to tip over onto its side. This one is very, very stable with good vibration-absorbing wheels.
