In January 2020, just before COVID-19 shut the world down, Take Your Seat managed to take part in a three-week photographic expedition through all of Thailand.
The work continues to use our director’s chair as a symbol of One People. One Planet. One Life. The series of photographs are now part of a collaboration between the embassies of Canada and Thailand to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between us. A large photo book has just been printed featuring our chair’s journey throughout both countries.
The book is intended to showcase how connected we all are despite geography, language, and cultural differences. COVID-19 permitting, a major exhibition in both countries will take place on Canada Day.
